Eldrick Tont Tiger Woods is a renown professional golfer. Born in Orange County, California, Tiger Woods began his career early. Learning to play golf with his father Earl. At just 8 years old, Wood’s made his first appearance on television for golf on Good Morning America. Earl donned “Tiger” his nickname, naming him after a fellow soldier. 

His professional career launched in 1996, and in 1997, he garnered national attention after winning the U.S. Masters in Augusta. After that, his personal and professional life continued to be in the headlines. Woods’ name continues to be on the tips of the paparazzi’s tongue for his soirees in infidelity and substance abuse trials. Both of which have impacted Woods’ professional reputation as well as his performance. 

Tiger received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Donald Trump in May 2019. Trump comments on Tiger’s ability to battle back from adversity and his “relentless will to win, win, win.”

Still going strong, Tiger has fought through adversity and continues to compete in the top golf championships as a renown athlete, as well as keeping the eye of the paparazzi.
