Tupac Shakur, also known by his stage names 2Pac and Makaveli, was an American rapper and actor.
He is considered by many to be the greatest hip-hop artists of all time. 2pac, a sensitive yet charismatic, precociously talented and troubled soul was widely known for his 1990’s gangster-rap music aesthetic that embodied violent and shocking lyrics.
Aside from his serious rapping talents, his seductive on-screen style and outspoken approach landed him on the silver screen with leading and supporting roles in six movies; Juice, Poetic Justice, Above The Rim, Bullet, Gang Related, Gridlock’D.
2Pac was gunned down in Las Vegas on September 7, 1996 and passed six days later at 25 years of age. His slaying has yest to be solved.

- Made history when he released All Eyes on Me back in 1996, which was the first double-full-length hip-hop solo studio album and his 4th album at the time
- 2004 Guinness Book for being the highest-selling rap artist at that time selling more than 67 million albums worldwide (more than 75 million records as of 2018)
- On 4/7/2018, 2Pac became the first solo rapper to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center
- Developed The Codes Of Thug Life where a set of codes, written by 2Pac, where designed to give order and reduce the rise of gang disorder and narcotics dealing. It made certain immoral actions, against the code which, would become a code of the street. These codes where signed by heads from the Bloods and Crips at a peace treaty picnic called the Truc Picnic, in California in 1992.
